General Rules

  1. All players must be 18+ to join the server. Anyone found underage will be permanently removed.
  2. A working microphone is required at all times. This is a strict voice RP server.
  3. All players must have active clipping software running at all times. Minimum 2-minute POV clips are required for reports. No clip = no staff assistance.
  4. Clipping software must be active during all combat situations.
  5. Real money trading (RMT) or exchanging in-game assets for external goods is strictly prohibited under CFX licensing rules.
  6. Character names must be realistic, readable, and lore-friendly. No joke or unrealistic names.
  7. Players must follow Twitch Terms of Service at all times, especially while streaming.
  8. No leaking, threatening, or doxxing any player or staff member.
  9. Harassment, targeting, or intimidation outside of RP context is not allowed.
  10. Impersonating staff, ownership, or government roles will result in a permanent ban.
  11. Any third-party cheats or modifications giving gameplay advantage are strictly forbidden.
  12. “100k or Die” graphics, UI mods, or unrealistic overlays are not permitted.
  13. Female roleplay must match assigned roles — no cross-gender RP without proper role permissions.
  14. All Twitch and streaming guidelines must be followed.

OOC / IRL Rules

  1. No real-life threats or harassment.
  2. No doxxing or personal data leaks.
  3. No IRL identity discussion in RP.
  4. Stay in character at all times.

Staff Respect

  1. No disrespecting staff or invading other staff sits while at the admin center.
  2. No advertising other servers.
  3. No OOC harassment of the server or community.
  4. Staff decisions are final.

Account & Integrity Policy

  • Alt Account Policy. The use of multiple Discord accounts or “alt accounts” within this server is strictly prohibited. Each player is allowed only one Discord account. If a player is found to be operating multiple accounts to bypass bans, manipulate systems, or hide their identity, all associated accounts may be permanently removed from the server.
  • Account Sharing. Under no circumstances are you permitted to share your account with another person. You are solely responsible for all actions taken on your account. If it is discovered that another individual is using your whitelisted account to access the city, the account will be banned immediately and without appeal.
  • Cheating & Vouching Consequences. If you are found to be vouching for a player who is caught cheating, or if you knowingly provide cover for a cheater, your whitelist and all “vouchable” roles will be permanently revoked. Additionally, you will be barred from vouching for any future players, as you will be deemed a risk to the server's competitive fairness.
Warning: Impersonating staff, ownership, or government roles will result in a permanent ban. Sharing a whitelisted account will result in an immediate ban without appeal.

Server Conduct

  1. You must be 18 or older to play. All players must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and participate on the server. If staff have reason to believe a player is underage, they may request verification. Players who cannot verify their age will be removed from the community.
  2. No stream sniping or targeted harassment. Joining the server with the intent of tracking down a content creator or a specific player using outside information is strictly forbidden, as is targeting the same player repeatedly to ruin their experience, grief them, or harass them in any form.
  3. AFK players are kicked after 15 minutes. The server will automatically kick any player who has been away from keyboard for 15 minutes or more. If you need to step away, please log out properly so another player can use your spot.
  4. No offensive character names or appearances. Names and appearances must not reference, mock, or depict anything hateful, offensive, or discriminatory — including but not limited to racial slurs, sexual content in names, real-world extremist figures, or deliberately dehumanising portrayals. Staff make the final call on what crosses the line.
  5. No advertising other servers or communities. Promoting, advertising, or recruiting for any other FiveM server, Discord community, or online platform in any Love Story channel — in-game chat, Discord, or the forums — is prohibited, including direct messages for recruitment purposes.
  6. English is the primary language in OOC channels. OOC channels, including global OOC chat and Discord support channels, are English-only. You are welcome to speak other languages between consenting players in private in-character settings.
  7. Respect all players regardless of their in-game role. Belittling, insulting, or discriminating against another player — for any reason — is unacceptable. Disagreements about roleplay should be handled maturely and, if needed, escalated to staff.
  8. Server rules apply across all platforms. The rules apply equally in-game, on the Discord server, the community forums, and any official Love Story social media channels. Behaviour on any of these platforms can and will be taken into account during moderation decisions.

Enforcement. Violations are handled case by case. Depending on the severity and frequency of the offence, consequences range from a verbal or written warning up to a permanent ban. Repeat offenders face escalating penalties with less room for appeal.

Warning: Staff decisions are final in all moderation matters. If you disagree with an outcome, submit a formal appeal through the designated support channel in Discord — do not argue with staff in public channels or in-game.

Cheating / Hacking

  1. Any cheating = permanent ban.
  2. Buying or using modded money/items = permanent ban.
  3. Failure to report exploits = permanent ban.

Exploiting

  1. No bug abuse of any kind.
  2. No emote clipping or wall exploits.
  3. Report all duplication/money exploits immediately.
  4. No AFK farming at ALL.

Game Physics Abuse

  1. No bunny hopping or movement exploits.
  2. No spam punching or emote abuse.
  3. No GTA-style unrealistic driving.
  4. No “superhuman” or unrealistic civilian behavior.
02 Roleplay RulesThe four pillars of every scene: Fail RP, Powergaming, Metagaming and Fear RP.

Fail RP

  1. No breaking character to complain or call rules mid-scene.
  2. Must use proper /me and /do interactions where required.
  3. No intentional disruption of RP flow.

Examples of Fail RP

  • “Stop VDMing me”
  • “I'm clipping this”
  • “You're getting banned”
  • OOC interruptions mid-scene

Powergaming

  1. No abusing mechanics to escape RP.
  2. No entering interiors to avoid RP.
  3. No water diving or scuba abuse to escape law enforcement.
  4. No forcing unrealistic outcomes on other players.

Metagaming

  1. No Discord RP communication.
  2. No stream sniping or using external info.
  3. No using IDs or overhead information.
  4. No OOC information used in RP (including voices).
  5. You may not identify staff outside RP context.
  6. If a character is killed (CK), you must start fresh — no “cousins” or reused identity loopholes.

Not limited to

  • Discord Calls
  • Twitch Streams
  • Kick Streams
  • YouTube Videos
  • Phone Calls
Warning: If a character is killed (CK), you must start fresh. No “cousins” or reused identity loopholes.

Fear RP

Fearing for your life. Example: if you are alone and 3 individuals hold you at gunpoint, you cannot escape without dying. You are not allowed to shoot if you are outnumbered, even if you are brandishing a firearm.

1v1

You can try to defend yourself or escape. You are not able to reach for a weapon if the other person is already threatening you with one.

2v1

If you don't have a weapon out you can try to escape (if you're not held at gunpoint), but you cannot reach for a gun to protect yourself if they have one gun out.

3v1

You must fear for your life if there are any weapons out in the scene. You cannot try to escape at all.

2v2 · 3v3

Anytime you and another party are equal to each other, you can try to defend yourself or escape.

Aiming at police. At no point in time are you allowed to aim a gun at a police officer and demand he releases your gang member or friend.

Consequences for failing to Fear RP. If you are involved in a scene where you are being robbed and you fail to properly fear for your life, you will be pocket wiped, and all items will be transferred to the individual who attempted to rob you. Additionally, you will receive 500 comms for failure to fear.

Warning: Failure to properly fear for your life during a robbery will result in a pocket wipe — all items transferred to the robber — plus 500 comms.

Character Standards

  1. All characters must be realistic and immersive.
  2. Celebrity impersonation is not allowed.
  3. No unrealistic names (e.g., Cash Money, Big Daddy, etc.).
  4. No unrealistic outfits (no 100K drip, floating masks, no-hands glitches, etc.).
  5. Characters must be properly developed (no bald peds, meme peds, or unfinished builds).
  6. Whitelisted and blacklisted surnames apply (see WL Items channel).
Tip: Check the WL Items channel in Discord before finalizing a surname — using a blacklisted surname or claiming a whitelisted one without approval will require you to change your character before you can continue playing.

Robbery Rules

  1. Minimum 2 minutes RP before robbery initiation.
  2. You cannot shoot and then attempt robbery.
  3. AFK players cannot be robbed unless RP was already initiated.
  4. Defeated players are considered incapacitated and cannot be forced immediately without RP.

Scamming Rules

  1. No scamming in businesses, PD, EMS, or Pillbox.
  2. Max scam limit: NONE.
  3. Fake listings or misleading car app posts = scamming.
  4. Vehicle scams are strictly prohibited.
  5. You are not allowed to scam and or rob for donator weapons, cars, or any donator item. This means you cannot steal or try to scam for money by pretending to sell your supporter vehicle.

Initiation

  • Initiation is based on 2 minutes — you need two minutes of roleplay to initiate and kill. Just because someone hits your car or tells you “F*ck you” or “SMD” doesn't give you the right to shoot them.
  • Attempting to rob and or kidnap someone does not give the target grounds for immediate initiation. Roleplay out robberies correctly. Get your get back in the same restart or roleplay with said person based on that robbery.
  • Shooting after fighting will result in a punishment for everyone involved. If you are in a roleplay scene in which a fight occurred, you are not allowed to shoot based on that. You are allowed to use that scene as a first interaction.
  • Threatening to kill someone or mentioning the death of someone of relevance to them is grounds for initiation. Witnessing the death of someone who is associated with you is grounds for initiation after declaration that you are associated with that person.
  • To initiate a robbery, you must have a minimum of 2 minutes of recorded roleplay, which must be either at least 2 minutes of direct interaction with the player you intend to rob, or at least 2 minutes of setup and observation, showing you watching/following the player and forming intent before acting.

Pockets Claim Requirements

Strict rules regarding pockets

  • There must be prior hostile/negative interaction with the victim.
  • No rule breaks can occur during the 2-minute robbery scene. If any rules are broken, the robbery will be denied, and the victim will keep their pockets.

All setup or interaction must be properly roleplayed and not conducted in public. You must have a clip showing the full 2 minutes prior to the robbery. If you do not fear for your life during a robbery you are liable for a CK.

Claim requirements

To claim pockets for an FRP, players are required to submit a clear and valid clip of the full interaction. The following conditions must be met:

  • The clip must be unedited, continuous, and clearly show the entire scenario leading up to and including the FRP.
  • There must be a negative or hostile 2 minute interaction prior to the robbery.
  • There must be no out-of-character (OOC) behavior at any point in the clip.
  • Exploiting or abuse of game mechanics is strictly prohibited.
  • Radio/communication abuse (including meta-gaming or using information your character would not realistically have) is not allowed.
  • The scenario must be fair, realistic, and follow all server rules at all times.
  • Any rule violations present in the clip, even if unrelated to the FRP, will result in an automatic denial of the pockets claim.

Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in the claim being denied. Repeated submission of invalid or rule-breaking clips may lead to a punishment. Final scene validity is at the discretion of the admin team. No valid 2-minute interaction or setup clip = no valid robbery.

Warning: If you do not fear for your life during a robbery you are liable for a CK (Character Kill).

Green Zones

The following areas are protected from negative RP:

  • Hospitals & PD
  • Clothing stores (inside)
  • Player-owned businesses (open)
  • Banks (except major heists)
  • Legion Garage
  • Gym (inside)
  • Clubs (when open)
  • Spawn areas
  • Owned housing interiors
  • Official events

RDM (Random Deathmatch)

  1. You must engage in at least 2 minutes of RP before initiating hostility.
  2. No revenge RDM.
  3. No killing EMS, Judges, Realtors, or Weazel News while on duty.
  4. Guns are meant to enhance RP, not replace it. Excessive DM behavior may result in a perm ban.
Warning: Excessive DM behavior may result in a permanent ban.

VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch)

  1. Any intentional use of a vehicle to harm players is VDM.
  2. Repeated ramming or weaponizing vehicles is prohibited.
  3. VDM applies even if the victim survives.

Combat Logging

  1. Leaving the game to avoid RP or punishment = ban.
  2. Logging out during police scenes = inventory wipe + ban.
  3. Exploiting crashes or F8 exits = ban or comms.
  4. Transferring items to avoid confiscation = inventory wipe + comms.
Warning: Logging out during a police scene results in an inventory wipe plus a ban. Transferring items to avoid confiscation results in an inventory wipe plus comms.

Crime & PD Engagement

  1. No shooting PD during traffic stops.
  2. Valid RP must exist before escalation.
  3. Kidnapping PD requires valid RP history and evidence if reported.
  4. No interfering in PD scenes without RP involvement.

PD-specific penalties

  • F8 on PD 2xCK
  • F8 on PD (1st offense)2-day ban + pocket wipe
  • RDM PD2-day ban

Give PD Real Roleplay

  • Stay in character from the moment you're pulled over, questioned, or approached. Do not go silent, do not go OOC, and do not treat the officer like a game mechanic.
  • Engage with the scene. Answer questions, react to what the officer says, ask for clarification, argue your side, comply, or refuse in-character.
  • Follow lawful commands the way your character actually would. If your character would sit on the curb, sit on the curb. If your character would run, run. Base the choice on the story, not on the outcome you want.
  • Let scenes breathe. Do not rush a stop, an arrest, or a pursuit to get back to what you were doing.

Roleplay Scenes Out to Their Conclusion

You are expected to see each scene through in character rather than escaping via disconnect, F8, or bad-faith excuses.

  • Play out the arrest. Booking, questioning, transport, and holding are all part of the scene.
  • Serve your time in character. Prison RP, community service, and probation are opportunities for storyline, not obstacles to skip.
  • If your character is charged, prepare for trial. Cases can and should be taken to court where the story calls for it. Work with your legal counsel, gather evidence, and roleplay the case out.
  • Losing a case is not losing the game. A conviction is a story hook, not a rules failure.

Escalation and Use of Force

Escalating to lethal force against PD requires real, in-character justification.

  • No shooting PD unless they escalate with lethal force. If PD has not drawn on you or a member of your group in a way that credibly threatens your character's life, you may not open fire on them.
  • No shooting PD during traffic stops. If you shoot an officer during a traffic stop with no prior lethal escalation and no valid RP behind it, it will be treated as RDM.
  • Valid RP must exist before escalation. You need a scene, a build-up, and clear in-character reasons for any hostile action against police. Random or unearned violence toward PD will be actioned.

Cop Baiting

  • No cop baiting or provoking without RP intent. Driving reckless in front of officers, taunting them, or setting up scenes just to force pursuits without any storyline behind it is a violation.
  • PD scenes must remain realistic and controlled. Every action you take should be something your character would credibly do, and every reaction from PD should be able to play out fully.

Do Not Interfere in PD Scenes

  • No interfering in PD scenes without RP involvement. You cannot roll up on a stop, an arrest, or a pursuit that has nothing to do with your character just to add chaos or “help” one side.
  • Family, friends, and gang ties still require valid RP. If you were not part of the build-up, you do not get to plug into the ending.

F8 and PD

Force-quitting on an active PD scene is combat logging. The punishments below are automatic and non-negotiable:

  • F8 on PD (1st offense)2-day ban + pocket wipe
  • F8 on PD (2nd offense)Character kill (CK)
  • RDM against PD2-day ban
Warning: F8'ing on an active PD scene is combat logging. First offense is a 2-day ban and a pocket wipe. A second offense is a CK on the character involved. RDM against PD is a 2-day ban on top of any additional punishment for the scene.

Government Property

Government property is off-limits outside of extremely narrow, staff-approved circumstances:

  1. No stealing PD or EMS vehicles.
  2. No stealing PD or EMS equipment, including firearms, radios, tasers, medical bags, and body armor.
  3. Any exception must be pre-approved by staff with a clear, story-driven reason. “It would be cool” is not a reason.
Tip: Every PD scene is someone's shift, someone's storyline, and someone's time. Give them the respect, roleplay, and follow-through you would expect if the roles were reversed.
06 EMS RulesLove Emergency Medical Services standards — calling for help, injury RP, surgery, pregnancy RP and respect for medics.
Primary sourceLove Story Roleplay Main DiscordShown here: the official Love Story documentation, as a reference. Not yet verified against the Main Discord — the Discord takes priority if anything differs.

Calling for EMS

When your character needs medical attention, use /911 in-game or press G to open the emergency call menu. Provide a clear, in-character description of what happened, where you are, and the injuries you're currently roleplaying. Vague or joke calls waste EMS time and are not permitted.

Note: Only call EMS when your character genuinely needs medical attention. If you are stuck or bugged with no medical scene attached, contact staff instead of tying up a working medic.

Give EMS Real Roleplay

EMS players are here to run scenes with you, not to be a respawn button.

  • Stay in character from the moment the sirens arrive. Do not stand up, walk off, or start typing OOC as soon as you're revived.
  • Describe your injuries. Tell the medic where you were hit, what you can feel, what hurts, and what you cannot move.
  • React to treatment. Wince when they set a bone, groan when they clean a wound, thank them, cry, curse, or go quiet.
  • Follow their instructions. If a medic tells your character to sit still, stay in the ambulance, or come to Pillbox, your character listens the same way they would in real life.
  • Do not rush the scene. Let the medic run their checks, ask their questions, and complete their treatment before you try to leave.

Injury Roleplay

Being downed is not a reset button. Once you take damage that would realistically injure a person, you are expected to roleplay that injury for the rest of the scene, and often beyond it.

  • Gunshot wounds, stabbings, broken bones, and burns must be carried in RP. A limp, a favored arm, slurred speech, coughing, or trouble breathing are all appropriate depending on the injury.
  • Injuries do not vanish the second EMS finishes treatment. A character discharged from Pillbox after a shooting should still be in visible recovery: bandages, a sling, a cane, reduced activity, or restricted work duties for a realistic window.
  • Do not power through injuries to keep fighting or running. Pushing through a serious wound with no roleplay effect is powergaming and will be treated as a rules violation.
  • Communicate the severity honestly. If your character was shot four times in the chest, do not treat it like a scraped knee. If your character was grazed, do not treat it like a coma.

Surgery and Hospital Scenes

  • Surgery scenes should be roleplayed in full, from intake and prep, through the operation, to recovery. Do not skip straight to “I'm out.”
  • Anesthesia, medication, and post-op grogginess are part of the scene. Your character should not walk out of a chest surgery ready to run a heist.
  • Follow discharge instructions in character. If the doctor says “no driving for a week” or “check back in for follow-up,” respect it in your roleplay.
  • Repeat, high-risk behavior after major treatment should carry real IC consequences, up to and including refused service if it becomes a pattern.

Pregnancy Roleplay

Pregnancy is a serious, long-form roleplay arc, not a punchline or a status update.

  • Pregnancy RP must be realistic. Trimesters, appointments, symptoms, restrictions, and recovery after birth should all be reflected in how the character behaves.
  • Schedule prenatal and delivery appointments through the EMS Discord. Do not surprise on-duty medics with a full labor scene mid-shift; use the EMS scheduling channel so a medic can be prepared and available.
  • Do not “abuse” pregnancy RP. That includes on-and-off pregnancies with no arc, week-long pregnancies, birthing in the middle of a shootout for shock value, or using pregnancy as a shield against IC consequences.
  • Fathers, partners, and family should be involved in RP too. A well-run pregnancy arc pulls in more than one character.
  • After delivery, continue the roleplay. Recovery, feeding, sleep loss, appointments, and the realities of a new baby should all show up in your character's day-to-day.

Respect for EMS

  • Do not insult, belittle, mock, or berate EMS players during or after a scene. In-character frustration is fine when it fits the story; OOC toxicity is not.
  • Do not refuse treatment just to grief a medic. If your character genuinely would refuse care, roleplay the refusal in a respectful, story-driven way.
  • Do not attack, rob, or set up EMS players on active calls. Medics on duty are treated as neutral responders. Assaulting an on-duty medic without heavy IC justification is a serious violation.
  • Do not backseat medics. If you have a genuine concern about how a scene was handled, take it to staff or the EMS command team, not to the medic mid-shift.
  • Say thank you. A single line of gratitude at the end of a scene goes a long way and keeps our medics wanting to log in.
Warning: Disrespecting, harassing, or repeatedly griefing EMS players is treated as a serious offense on Love Story RP and can result in escalating punishment, up to and including a ban.

Quick Reference

Call EMS

Use /911 in-game or press G to reach a medic. Provide location and injuries in-character.

Schedule appointments

Book prenatal, delivery and follow-up appointments through the EMS Discord channel, not mid-shift.

Roleplay your injuries

Wounds, surgery recovery and pregnancy must be carried in RP realistically for the full scene and beyond.

Respect your medics

EMS players run scenes for the whole city. IC frustration is fine; OOC disrespect is not.

07 Faction RulesThe official Faction ROE and KOS/War rules — clipping, cooldowns, sliding, civilians, robbery/PK, tiers and wars.
SourceLove Story Faction Rules DocumentReproduced in full from the official document. If anything differs, the document takes priority.
View Official Document

General Rules

  1. All players MUST have a working clipping software (Nvidia or AMD for shooting clips).
    • All interactions between factions MUST be 2 minutes. This is to ensure proper roleplay and proper build-up in all situations.
    • Any clips with missing or no audio will be considered invalid.
  2. If anyone from your gang goes OOC, your clip will be invalid (if the opposing gang goes OOC and your gang remains in-character, your clip will still be valid).
  3. Piggybacking, escorting or carrying during the clip will also result in the clip being invalid.
  4. Any clip that is clipped over with Xbox Game Bar will result in an instant punishment.
  5. Anything requested by FM MUST be provided.
  6. You must clip every kill for POV request reasons.
  7. When clipping, you MUST provide us with an ID (flex “U” muscle to bring up IDs).
Warning: Any attempt to hide health, stamina or armor in your HUD will result in immediate punishment.

Point System

There is a point system. Points can be appealed; however, if your faction reaches a total of 6,000 points it will be disbanded.

Interaction Rules

  1. There is a 30 minute cooldown on the target gang after interacting, unless the opposing gang comes to you.
  2. Revenge reporting and petty reports are NOT allowed. You have 24 hours to report. You have 30 minutes to request a POV for any scene; after that it will be deemed invalid.
  3. If you are contemplating reporting a faction and you decide to make a ticket after the opposing faction, you are no longer allowed to have any negative interactions between you and the opposing gang you are reporting until the report has been handled.
  4. If one member is cheating, the punishment will affect the entire gang (4 players caught cheating = 2 STRIKES).
  5. You are only allowed to be in ONE gang. You cannot create multiple characters in multiple gangs.
  6. You are not allowed to have any violent interactions, shooting or killing 15 minutes before or 15 minutes after a restart.
  7. You are NOT ALLOWED to initiate interactions inside of green zones.
  8. If you feel like a rule is broken, continue the roleplay until the scene is over, then open a ticket.
  9. Gangs are required to wear their identifier at ALL TIMES such as flags, chains, vests, clothing items, etc. (Any reported scenes without the identifier will result in a punishment.)
  10. Interfering in an active scene between two opposing factions will result in a faction strike. Repeated violations of this rule may lead to your faction being STRIKED (clipping will be required).
  11. Retaliation Rule — once Party A attacks Party B, Party B will have 1 hour to attack back. If Party A attacks Party B again within the 1 hour, they will be punished.
  12. You CANNOT rob the same gang multiple times without abiding by the 30 minute cooldown.
  13. You can rob anyone in a faction with three negative interactions against the opposing faction (all three interactions MUST be posted in your thread and approved by FM).
  14. If you are in traffic, the maximum number of members who can go on a robbery/slide is six; that applies to Tier 1 and Tier 2 factions. Only Tier 3 & Tier 4 factions are allowed to commit robberies/slide with eight members.
  15. If someone is following you for two minutes, you ARE ALLOWED to shoot at them to defend yourself. This can happen before and after the beef is approved.
  16. If you are caught lacking, 2v1 with weapons out can fight back; 3v1 must fear and put hands.
    • Only melee vs. melee combat is allowed. Any matchup involving a gun against a melee weapon is not allowed.
    • Killing and robbing in the same scene is NOT ALLOWED (the scene will be voided).
  17. Once EMS arrives on scene, you MUST STOP SHOOTING COMPLETELY. (If you get picked up by EMS on scene, you must LEAVE the scene.)
  18. Crutch Rule (defined): gang members on a crutch cannot be killed unless they heavily provoke the opposing faction (e.g., clear aggression, taunting, or interference in an active situation).
    • When pushing or sliding into an opposing faction's area, be aware of who is on a crutch and who is not before engaging.
    • If you are on a crutch, do not intentionally linger in hostile situations or bait others into killing you for the purpose of filing a report.
    • If you are actively communicating over the radio during a live shootout or active combat situation, you may be considered involved and can be shot, even if on a crutch.
    • Use common sense at all times and avoid petty or unnecessary reports.
  19. When roleplaying with PD, you must always show some type of common courtesy when it comes down to certain scenes that lead to shootings.
    • Gang members cannot shoot at PD unless it is a last resort regarding a chase (failure to comply with this rule will result in an immediate, non-appealable punishment).
  20. Valid forms of initiation: you can respond violently without the interaction if someone does the following:
    • Refusing to leave the block (must warn them to leave 3 times).
    • Aiming/upping a gun at someone.
    • Snitching on a gang/person.
    • Threatening someone's life (using words such as, but not limited to, “I'll kill you” and “I'm spinning back”).
    • Stealing someone's vehicle.
  21. You are NOT ALLOWED to intentionally camp hidden locations for the purpose of robbing or killing people (this includes: black market, item farming areas, money wash, etc.).

Attack/Defense & Sliding Rules (Approved Beef)

  1. There is a 30 minute cooldown on the target gang after sliding, unless the opposing gang retaliates.
  2. Gangs with approved beef are allowed to spin the opposing gang up to 3 times. After the third spin, they are cleared to hop out and initiate shooting — so stay alert and be on point at all times.
    • In return, if the gang being spun recognizes the car, after the third spin it can be taken as a clear act of aggression, and they are allowed to open fire on the vehicle.
  3. Drivers are NOT ALLOWED to shoot in a moving vehicle.
  4. Only 5 and 6 seater vehicles are allowed.
  5. You are ONLY allowed to slide with 6 members max.
    • You CANNOT slide one deep on an opposing gang, unless you are in traffic and catch one member from the opposing gang loafing.
    • If you are in traffic with an opposing gang, the sliding cap does not apply; it's only for block to block.
  6. You cannot arrive late to a scene and initiate an attack. Any individual who did not participate in the initial engagement with the original group will be considered as committing a double attack.
  7. If there are 4 or more people present on the block, no one should have guns out unless there is an active, immediate threat.
    • Tier One sliding cap — 6
    • Tier Two sliding cap — 8
    • Tier Three sliding cap — 10
    • Tier Four sliding cap — 12
  8. If you shoot at a gang first (this makes you the attacker — in traffic or on the block), the cooldown DOES NOT apply to the opposing gang that was attacked — they are allowed to retaliate.
    • This cooldown is placed to prevent constant back-to-back sliding and to allow each other to expand the roleplay throughout the city.
  9. If a gang member is asked what gang they are in, they MUST make it known in addition to wearing the designated identifier. You should claim your gang no matter what.
Warning: IMPORTANT: if you are caught spinning a gang you do NOT have approved beef with, your entire gang will face severe punishment.

Civilian vs Gang Rules

  1. During a robbery scene involving a gang member, you are expected to roleplay and fear for your life (failure to do so will result in a character kill (CK) or pocket wipe).
  2. Gang members are also able to get CK'd if they are provoking civilians.
    • If the civilian has built up roleplay (proven through a series of 5 negative interaction clips) of the player threatening their life consistently, once the civilian takes action and kills them it could be deemed a valid CK.
  3. You ARE NOT allowed to kill innocent civilians unless you are provoked or have the proper roleplay behind it (please keep in mind, if a civilian sends you or your gang up, have all the supporting documentation).
    • Shooting/killing should not be the first response to a civilian provoking a gang member (only in extreme cases, if a civilian interferes with a gang shootout or provokes you in a disrespectful way).
  4. Civilian Interaction Rule (defined): if a civilian initiates an illegal interaction with a gang member (such as attempting to purchase drugs, weapons, or other illegal items), the gang member may scam them after two minutes have passed from the start of the interaction.
  5. The two-minute timer begins once the civilian clearly engages in the transaction.
  6. Robbery is only permitted if the civilian is the one who initiates the illegal transaction.
  7. Gang members may not force or bait civilians into illegal interactions in order to scam or rob them.

Faction Robbery / PK Rule

  1. If you fail to roleplay during a robbery and do not comply (ex: not putting your hands up), you will be CK'd.
    • Your character will be killed and must be renamed.
    • You will be added to the graveyard section of the Discord (the opposing gang will be up on the score).
  2. You ARE NOT allowed to rob a dead body.
  3. If you are caught spinning alone and you die, you will be CK'd.
  4. BODYBAG RULE: if you are bodybagged, it will result in a FULL CK.
    • Character is fully wiped.
    • All assets and items are gone.
Note: If you have donor items, you may open a ticket to reclaim them.
Note: Rules are subject to be changed at any time.

Faction Tiers

Factions can tier up based on approved beef. Faction drops will be given biweekly based on approved beef, and will consist of drugs, ammo, guns and melees.

  • 3

    Official Faction

  • 7

    Tier 1

  • 14

    Tier 2

  • 21

    Tier 3

  • 35

    Max Tier

Approved beefs required for each tier.

“Approved beef” means gangs — for example, after being approved for beef with 10 different gangs, you gain Tier 1.

All faction interactions must take place within a 2-week (14-day) span to be considered valid for faction points, tier progression, or any other faction-related credit. Interactions that fall outside the 14-day window will not be counted or accepted. Faction owners are responsible for keeping accurate records and ensuring all interactions submitted are within the valid timeframe.

No exceptions — keep your interactions current.

KOS / War Rules — War Format

These rules apply to all KOS/wars in Love Story. Failure to follow any rule may result in round loss, war DQ, gang strikes, and/or bans depending on severity.

  • Wars are first to 5.
  • All participants must bring their own guns, ammo, and drugs.
  • Wars are allowed any day of the week.
  • 1 hour to lock ticket.
  • If a team wins the OG and the opposing gang wins the double, either it evens out or play full pot and winner takes all 3 wins.
  • You must be in a KOS VC during ANY war (unless agreed upon).
  • 1 sub by default.

POV & Clip Rules

  • When requesting POV you must post your death.
  • ANY POV must contain 5 seconds before and 3 seconds after.
  • Death POV is required when acquiring any POV request. The player who dies must be the one to call POV — nobody else.
  • If POV is requested, the player has 5 minutes to provide it by:
    • Uploading the clip.
    • 3+ kills is an auto post — you must post or it's a ban.
    • Joining VC & screen sharing the POV if the player doesn't have Nitro.
  • Clip must be a minimum of 30 FPS.
  • POV must include all audio — Discord, in-game, etc.
  • You only get one post request per round.
    • If on Clip Watch, you may be asked to post any time during the war (you're valid 1 request without death POV per KOS).
    • You have 2 minutes to retrim after the first post.
  • Failure to provide POV results in an automatic loss of that round.
  • Failure to provide POV x2 is an auto game DQ + player placed on Clip Watch.
  • Someone with the “Clip Watch” role has 1 hour to post all kills from the war, or the war will be reverted.

Combat Rules

  • No cheating (instant ban, full war DQ, and gang strikes).
  • No crouch shooting of any type.
  • No aqua peeking.
  • No off-Q peeking.
  • No drug shooting.
  • No shooting from rooftops, mountains, or high ground.
  • No helmets of any kind.
  • Calling “W8” requires the entire team to stop playing immediately.
  • If anyone continues playing after a “W8” call, the round is awarded to the opposing team.
  • First violationRound loss
  • Second violationWar DQ
  • Killing someone other than during the KOSRDM
  • RDM x1Round DQ
  • RDM x2 or moreWar DQ

Clothing & Gang Requirements

  • Teams must wear the same outfits. Failure to do so is a round RR (unless agreed).
  • All players must have the same Discord roles. Playing with anyone without roles will be a war DQ & gang strike.

DQ Rules

  • If the war is locked, the host is present, and the whole team is at the war map, then you can start a 10 minute DQ (whole team must be present).
  • If the match hasn't started, the DQ is 10 minutes — must be ready with the whole team and must have proof (DQ is 5 minutes after the first round has been played).
  • DQ timer must be announced (ex: “DQ started, ends :05”).

DQ reasons

  • Caught cheating
  • FTP x2
  • Mass RDM

Clip Quality Requirements

  • Tracers must be clearly visible (default tracers don't count).
  • Bitrate and FPS must be high enough to clearly see all actions (30fps+).
  • Only NVIDIA or AMD clipping software is allowed.
  • Renaming clips is a war DQ and placed on Clip Watch.
  • If you have Nitro, you MUST post — you can NOT screen share having Nitro.

Crashes & Disconnects

  • If a player crashes or F8 quits, they must screen share loading back in. Failure to notify an admin why you F8'd will result in a player DQ.
  • A war admin must be present during the screen share.
  • Waiting in queue DOES NOT pause the DQ timer — only the loading screen does.

Banned Player Rule

If any member of a gang has been banned from another FiveM server for cheating, and the opposing team can provide proof, the player will get Clip Watch.

This only applies to cheating bans. Nothing else.

Reasons to Call RR

  • Player killed by a player with a spider (must be killed by the person with the spider)
  • Killed by a ghost or chip
  • City res mid round
  • Invalid clip posted
  • No tracers
  • Killed OOB
  • Drug shooting
  • Radio shooting
  • Exploit shooting (doing emotes while shooting)
Warning: Outside comms is a game DQ (extra people caught in a VC or on radio). No props is a player DQ and a ban.
Note: Rules are enforced as written and can change at any time.

Warning: No clip = no staff assistance. If you can't produce a minimum 2-minute POV clip when a scene goes to report, staff cannot help you.
Tip: Set your clipping software to keep at least the last 2 minutes of gameplay at all times. Test it before you jump into any hostile scene — a broken hotkey during combat is the same as no clip.

Reporting System

  1. All reports require a minimum 2-minute clip with full audio.
  2. No Tognames on in clips unless it's a report for cheating or TOS.
  3. Clipping software must always be active.
  4. Reports must be clear and detailed. Vague reports will be denied.
  5. No revenge reporting or report spamming.
  6. Staff may teleport players to admin sits for investigation.
  7. Do not physically go to admin areas to file reports.
  8. False reporting will result in punishment.
  9. 3+ Kills Requires POV — if you do not have POV when requested this can result in a PERM BAN.
Warning: 3+ Kills requires POV. If you cannot produce POV when requested, this can result in a PERM BAN.
Tip: Turn Tognames off before you clip anything you might report. The only exceptions are cheating and TOS reports — anywhere else, Tognames on will get your clip denied.

How to Make a Valid Report

Every step below comes from the official reporting, clipping and player-guide pages.

How to make a valid report

  1. Keep clipping software running

Clipping software must always be active — set it to keep at least the last 2 minutes of gameplay and test your hotkey before any hostile scene.

  2. Turn Tognames off

Clip with Tognames off. The only exceptions are reports for cheating or TOS — anywhere else, Tognames on will get your clip denied.

  3. Save a clip of at least 2 minutes with full audio

All reports require a minimum 2-minute clip with full audio. For scenes with 3+ kills, POV is required when requested.

  4. Write a clear, detailed report

Vague reports will be denied. Include player IDs, a brief description of what happened and your location in the city.

  5. Submit it through the right channel

Urgent, active situations: use /report in-game. Non-urgent reports: open a ticket in #support on Discord and attach your clip.

  6. Let staff investigate

Staff may teleport players to admin sits for investigation. Do not physically go to admin areas to file reports.

  7. Report in good faith

No revenge reporting or report spamming. False reporting will result in punishment.

Pregnancy Endangerment

Any pregnant character who engages in shootouts, high-speed chases, brawls, or any other activity that would realistically endanger their life or the life of their unborn child is in violation of our roleplay standards. Confirmed violations will result in a character kill (CK) for the pregnant character and a pregnancy blacklist on the account, removing your ability to run pregnancy RP going forward.

Warning: Shooting while pregnant, or engaging in anything that jeopardizes your character or your unborn child's life, will result in a character kill (CK) and a pregnancy blacklist on your account.
10 Community StandardsZero-tolerance TOS violations that are never permitted — no exceptions, no consent workarounds.

Zero Tolerance TOS Violations

Some behavior is never acceptable on Love Story RP, regardless of context, consent, or storyline framing. Violating any of these will be actioned immediately.

  1. No sexual violence RP of any kind.
  2. No extremist, terrorist, or mass violence RP themes.
  3. No discrimination or hate speech.
  4. No posting bodies on social media systems.
  5. Suicide RP is strictly prohibited.
  6. No endangerment while pregnant. Pregnant characters may not engage in shootouts, high-speed chases, fights, or any other activity that would realistically harm them or their unborn child.
  7. No shooting or harming pregnant characters. Pregnant characters are off-limits as targets of gunfire or physical assault, and any player who knowingly harms one will be actioned.
  8. No derogatory actions. Slurs, hate-driven remarks, and any behavior meant to degrade another player based on identity are strictly prohibited, both in character and out of character.
  9. All content must comply with the TOS of Twitch, Discord, YouTube, and any other streaming or social platform you use. Roleplay that would violate the terms of service of these platforms is not permitted on Love Story RP.
Warning: These are absolute zero-tolerance violations. There are no exceptions, no consent workarounds, and no storyline framing that makes any of these acceptable.
11 Character RecoveryThe Character Recovery Rule, the 15-minute restart rule, and grace periods around restarts and connecting.

Character Recovery Rule (CRR)

  1. Do not request EMS unless stuck/bugged. Use /911 or G.
  2. You must wait 10 minutes before re-engaging RP after being downed.
  3. You cannot return to the same scene during recovery.
  4. Injury RP must continue after treatment.
  5. Memory of death is not retained unless re-informed in RP.

15-Minute Restart Rule

All roleplay interactions, including criminal activities, police pursuits, and hostile engagements, must be concluded at least 15 minutes prior to a scheduled or announced server restart. This ensures that scenarios are not cut short by the server going offline, which can lead to “Combat Logging” disputes or lost items.

Similarly, a 15-minute “Grace Period” is in effect immediately following a server restart. During this time, players should focus on getting situated, retrieving vehicles, and resuming their roles. Initiating new high-intensity scenes, such as robberies, kills, or major arrests, is not permitted until this window has passed.

Any interactions that occur within these 15-minute windows are considered invalid and may be voided by staff.

Warning: Repeatedly ignoring the 15-minute rule to bait others or escape consequences may result in a ban.

6-Minute Connection Grace Period

The official Character Recovery page lists a 6-minute connection grace period for loading in. Its detailed terms are not yet published in the documentation, so this website does not restate them. Check the official page for updates, or ask staff in #support on Discord.
